    question about the 10% condition

So I'm kind of confused about the 10% condition. My book says You should use the formula in the picture (Standard Deviation/√sample#)for the standard deviation of xbar onlywhen the population is at least 10 times as large as the sample (the 10%condition).

so the number that you get needs to be or greater than .10?????

    PLEASE HELP ITS REALLY ANNOYING

    Hey asilvester635.

Can you point out in your book where it introduces the 10% condition and the context that this is in?
