I am a student new to SPSS and am trying to calculate the validity of a scale that I created. It is 11 items and the survey gave a definition and asked the participants to choose the option (one of eleven options) that best fit the definition. Therefore, there is a correct answer for each question.
For simplicity, the survey was set up so that, when the data was downloaded, each question number correlated to the answer number (Q1=A1, Q2=A2, etc.) I ran the descriptives to see what the modes looked like and the modes all were the correct answer for each question.
However, I want to make sure that there is statistical significance and was wondering how to run a validity analysis in SPSS to find this.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Re: Validity Question
I'm not understanding what hypothesis you are trying to test. Can you state specifically what you are trying to test (please name the parameters and the rejection region if you could).
