    Lightbulb Showing Probability of odd

    Showing Probability of odd-capture.jpg

I don't really understand how can I show that the number is odd. How should I start?

    I tried to start using Binomial. p = a/(a+b) and q = b/(a+b). But can't get the answer.

Would glad if someone enlighten me. I can solve it myself once I understand the question. Thank you.
