    Appropriate statistical tests

    Hey!
I am currently working on a project involved in the measure and analysis of erosion along a section of coastline, and have managed to gather a pretty decent set of results. In terms of statistics, was just wondering which would be appropriate to use when looking to compare 1) height of cliff and rates of erosion 2) Rates of erosion and geographical location.
Any help will be much appreciated as I'm a little lost in the stats world!
    Cheers, Jim x

    Re: Appropriate statistical tests

For 1 a correlation coefficient would be a start.
