Bank L has 40% of people
Bank P has 50% of people
Bank M has 30% of people
15% are both in bank L and bank P
13% are both in bank L and bank M
11% are both in bank P and bank M
5% are in all three banks
Percent of people who are only in one bank of the three:
. . (a) 11% . . (b) 17% . . (c) 29% . . (d) 57% . . (e) 86%
i have built this diagram and got 57% from suuming the areas which are free.
i was told that my diagram is wrong because i didn't mention the people
. . who don't have any bank,
How to know if there are people who are not present in any bank?
What is their percentage?
Question (B): Find presentage of people with at least one bank?
. . (a)14% . . (b) 43% . . (c) 57% . . (d) 86%
in my diargam every one has a bank so its 100% . No!
Where is my mistake?
Your diagram is correct.
Did you add the numbers in your diagram?
We find that they add up to 86%.
This means that 14% is outside of the three rings.
Those are the people who have no bank.
