    Rejection Sampling

Can someone help me the following question:

The question is to find the smallest possible value of A.
I'm not really sure to begin, I know that you reject if f(x) < k*g(x).

Could someone help me to find any value of A and then from there I should be able to find the smallest value!

    Re: Rejection Sampling

Ok so I have a value of pi/4 for A as I worked out the function takes a maximum when sin is 1 ie x is pi/4.
If I want to evaluate this in R how do I write the code? At the moment te code I have keeps returning me with errors
    Help please
