Question Is there a statistical formula to find out if medical screening is cost-effective?

    Hi

I was wondering if there is a statistical formula that I can use to figure out whether medical screening is effective given that I know the cost of screening each patients?

    Thank you

Do you have a definition of value for money that can be put into a statistical model?

Thank you for that. It's just that I remember reading somewhere if I know the cost of screening for each patient and how many can be treated, etc. I could use a statistical formula to find out whether screening is worth doing or not.
