1. Venn diagram question from a beginner

Hi please could anyone help me with this homework question?

i...Determine the elements of the sets
A={x | x\varepsilon N, 2 < x 5}

B={n | nN, n=x+3, x \varepsilon A}

ii...Given that n(AxB) = n(A) x n(B) what is the value of n(AxB) .

Thanks

I know that $A=\{3,4,5\}$.
But I have no idea what $B=\{n| nN,~x=x+3,~x\in A\}$ means.
In particular: the $nN$ part.
Can you clear up the notation?

3. Hi sorry my mistake

B={n | n\varepsilon N, n=x+3, x \varepsilon A}

Why not learn to post in symbols? You can use LaTeX tags
$$B=\{n: n\in N,~n=x+3,~x\in A\}$$ gives $B=\{n: n\in N,~n=x+3,~x\in A\}$.

Just add 3 to each term if $A$

5. Ok thank you for your help
