    Hypothesis Testing help/ please show work

    A random sample of 100 observations was taken from the population. The mean of the sample is 400, and standard error is 10. What is the estimated mean and standard deviation of the population?

    The standard error is \displaystyle \frac{s}{\sqrt{n}}

    In your case \displaystyle \frac{s}{\sqrt{100}}= 10 solve for s
