Hi guys first of all i must admit that statistics isnt my deal really.
I am taking calculus 2 in my engineering program, and we used to have a separate course for statistics but not we dont need to take it anymore, so they have included this moment of statistics on our exam (can give us 3 points of max)

So I am not really gd at this

3. I got to hear from someone else that this integral is generalized in -1. Why is that ?

4. the pdf holds if x ranges from -1 to 1. It is zero otherwise. therefore you integrate the function from -1 to 1 as stated in post #2.
