Thread: Help with z-scores

Hi - I'm in a second year stats course and am having trouble understanding z-scores. One of my homework questions asks me to estimate the percentage of scores above and below a set of raw scores.

Here are the first few rows of the chart I've been given to fill out, to hopefully make things clearer:



My question is, how do I go about finding these numbers? My homework directs me to a z-score normal distribution table, so I assume that I should be using these numbers as part of my calculation, but I don't understand how they relate to my chart specifically.

I'm completely lost, and if anyone could explain to me how to get started, I'd really appreciate it.
