    Test

    Want to test if the number of accidents on a highway is equally distributed in the days of the week.
    Therefore, we collected the following data:

    Day of the week | 1 | 2 | 3 | 4 | 5 | 6 | 7
    Number of Accident | 33 | 26 | 21 | 22 | 17 | 20 | 36

    Use \alpha = 5%

    I would use a \chi^2 test with calculated value \displaystyle \chi^2 = \frac{(\text{Observed}-\text{Expected})^2}{\text{Expected}}

    Test will be

    H_0: \text{# Mon Accidents = # Tue Accidents = ... = # Sun Accidents}

    H_a: \text{At least one of days is different}
