HI, I have a quick question about the margin of error.

If I have a simple random sample and the margin of error is given to me
ie: The doctor wants a 99% confidence interval estimate with a bound on the error of 2 psi.
The margin of error is 2 psi, well my question is what would be the correct way to write that margin of error would it be E= .2 , or E=2
