    finding critical value using interpolation

    How can i find critical value for f distribution F 0.01, 35, 35 using interpolation when i have in the table only values for 30 and 40 ?

    use an online table instead
    I was surfing for a good one
    I did find a printed table

    with 35, 35, .01 as 2.23

    oh well...thats the easy way..although i need to know how to do it using interpolation

    You can average the values, but there's no reason to do that.
    I just found this one
    F Distribution Calculator
    leave the third box empty
    put in 35, 35, NOTHING, .01
    they fill in the 2.231 as your critical value.

    i know the answer....i can find it using different methods (TI-84+, ONLINE CALC. excel...) i need to find out how i can do it using INTERPOLATION...without the use of technology
