Thread: Maximum likelihood estimator question provided

Hi im having a bit of trouble with this question i can do a and b

I got 1/(6*(beta^4)) for a

and for b i got beta = x/24

you might want to check these please because you need them for c

i am getting it to = -1 which shows it is biased. It has to equal 0 for it to be unbiased i think.

this is a gamma density
and beta is a constant, it cannot have x's in it
