Thread: Confusing stats portal median question

what is the medians position ... (n+1)/2 says 5.5 but that is not an option what do i do? the options are 1-10

This makes no sense. Post the whole question please.

the median is the mean of position 5 and 6 but i can only choose 5 or 6 i was told to use 5 as it is the smaller but i didnt find that justified
