    In a pmf P(X,Y) given in a table of values of x and y between 0 and 4 what does F(3,2) mean? Thanks

    Hello,

    Most probably, it would mean F(3,2)=P(X\leq 3,Y\leq 2)=\sum_{x=0}^3\sum_{y=0}^2 P(x,y) (joint cdf)
