    find the margin of error (E) that corresponds to the given statistics and confidence level.

    98% confidence; the sample size is 1230, of which 40% are successful.

    98% confidence level translates to a 2.326348 z score.

    MOE = \sqrt{\frac{(p)(1-p)}{n}} 2.326348

    Can you finish it from here?
