    What distribution is this?

Got the following question and I have no idea what distribution to use for it. I modelled it on the normal but not sure if this was correct? Heard some people talking today about the gamma distribution?

    Thanks in advance

Recent work at a particular environmental monitoring station shows that hourly concentrations of an airborne pollutant has mean 26.01 ml/m^3 and standard deviation 7.342ml/m^3. What standard distribution might usefully be used to model this and why? In selecting a suitable distribution note that, under exceptional environmental conditions, concentrations of pollutants can be very large.

I don't actually do any modelling (the agency said I was far too ugly) but I think gamma sounds like a better distribution to use. You can control the kurtosis and it is not negative a.s.
