    quick margin of error prob

    Newspaper surveys 1027 people. alpha=.05. whats the sampling margin of error?

    1.96\sqrt{{\hat p\hat q\over n}} where the max occurs when we use p=q=.5?

    mmm, i think so. I'm guessing the confidence interval would be 95%?

    heres the full Q-

    The Washington post surveys 1027 randomly selected people. Determine the sampling margin of error (the accuracy) for this poll using \alpha=.05
