Is this correct Provided by "P (X <= k)= e......." you mean P (X <= k) = Pr(X = 0) + Pr(X = 1) + .... + Pr(X = k) = e........ and provided by "P (X > k)= 1 - e........" you mean P (X > k)= 1 - P(X <= k) then yes it's correct.
