1. ## Counting problem!

I have 2 problems that I can't figure out!

A school of 100 fish is to be tagged with 6 tags:

1. what is the probability of each outcome when each fish may receive any number of tags and there are 2 sets of 3 tags where tags within a set cannot be distinguished from each other?

2. what is the probability of each outcome when each fish may receive at most 1 tag and there are 2 sets of 3 tags where tags within a set cannot be distinguished from each other?

Help! (answers with explanations are best!) Thanks!

It is really not sure what is going on here.
In #1 are you saying that each fish can be taged with 0, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, or 6 tags?
What is the purpose of there being 100 fish?
What do you mean by an outcome and/or its probability?

I think before any work is done on this problem, you need to restate in a lot detailed exclamation as to what it means.
