[13) In the beckan Microchip Company, the average percentage defective expected from a process that produces extel 967 microchips has been found to be around 3% The company produces about 10 000 of these chips per week. How often Wil the weekly percentatge defective exceeds 3.5%

14) The statewide Insurance company is monitoring the number of insurance claims/ over a number of years the average number of claims per quarter has been 7000. What is the probability that in the next quarter there will be 7200 claims?

Sd= radical p(1-p)/1000 which gives us 0.00458 and the mean is 0.03 while the new % is 3.5. The weekly per will exceed 3.5% 0.0217 pr 2.17 % of the time

Ex.14

Sd is radical the mean which makes it 83.67,and using excel functions the probability will be 1-0.509=0.491 which means 49.1 %

Those are my answers and as a person who doesnt know about statistics mcuh am sure i have some wrong answers, so if you are fimiliar with stats and are able to tell me the right answer reply as I need the answers asap
