Thread: Joint probability mass functions help

Here's the pmf:


(a) Verify that this is a legitimate joint pmf.
(b) Compute the marginal probability mass functions.
(c) Assume that n = 5 and compute P(X <= 3; Y <= 2)

i have no idea how to do this.
