1. Hi, just wanted to thank you in advance if you can help me!

Code:
 Table 1

Number of PCs sold (x)
0 1 2 3 4
Number of printers sold (y)
0 .03 .03 .02 .02 .01
1 .02 .05 .06 .02 .01
2 .01 .02 .10 .05 .05
3 .01 .01 .05 .10 .10
4 .01 .01 .01 .05 .15

1. Show the probability distribution for x and y in the following form:

Value of x Pr(x) Value of y Pr(y)

2. What is the number of printers sold on an average?

3. What is the number of PCs sold on an average?
Any and all help would be greatly appreciated. I was sick for about a week and a half and had to miss the lectures... Thanks again!

Also, if you have any websites or anything that you think could help me, I would greatly appreciate it if you would post them for me. Thank you again!

This is not what you want to hear but the thing is that to teach you how to do questions like this is not practical. And if (as is most likely) these questions count towards your final grade then, to give you the solutions and answers is not ethical.

My advice, frustrating as I know it will be, is to try and get an extension on the due date for this work (getting a medical certificate will help) and use that time to catch up and then have a genuine attempt at answering these questions. You should attempt to get as much help from your teacher as possible to facilitate this.

3. Actually, I have been trying to figure out this stuff on my own. I don't understand the teacher as it is, (thick indian accent), so I've been trying it on my own. It's just a completion grade (and this is only 3 of 16 problems)... I'll just have to keep trying to learn it on my own...

4. Does anyone think they could help me at least start these problems?
