[SOLVED] Split Plane Geometry

How do you find the geodesic from a point (0, -1) to (2,1) in the split plane geometry where distances below the x-axis are multiplied by 1/2 but distances at and above the x-axis are unchanged?

How is the metric defined on the split plane? What you asked makes no sense.
