    Intro to Real Analysis Proof (infS and supS)

    Let S be a non-empty subset of R.

    (A) Prove that infS<=supS

    (B )What can you say about S if S=supS? justify.

    You mean "if inf S= sup S", right? Let x and y be two members of S. If inf S= sup S, what can you say about x and y?
