Before anyone could answer that you will have to tell what YOU mean by one number being more "beneficial" or "better" than another!
Hello! I am wondering if I could please have help with this topic of why Pi would be more beneficial than Tau. Is there any proofs that show why Pi would be better in 3 dimensional sphere or 4 dimensions? Any harder equations/proofs would be appreciated. Also why would Pi be more useful in Euler Formula. Thanks!
From what I understand is that people that support Tau want to replace the teachings of Pi.
One of Tau examples would be that it is easier to teach radians to students compared to Pi where Pi/2 is a quarter compared to Tau/4 is a quarter.
So I guess what I am looking for is, what would be better in the Educational system.
If I was to support Pi how could I find a good tertiary example for this.
I am happy to continue using Pi as it has been around for thousands of years though Tau makes some valid points.
Pi and Tau have it ups and downs, so really it shouldn't matter what we use since we know 2Pi=Tau. However, I still would like some good proofs for Pi to stick around.
