Thread: Oscillator

I'm doing a project over the duffing oscillator but having trouble finding any real world applications for it. Any ideas?

The restoring force terms are interesting. The article on ScholarPedia indicates its use in a double potential well. I know I've seen this in Quantum Mechanics, but I'm afraid I don't have a source for it. That's the best I can do for you.
