Prove that C[a,b] is a inner product space..

Please help me to prove the following axioms or can anybody send me a link which includes these proofs.



1.<f,g>=<g,h>(bar)
2.<f,f>=0 iff f=0

Don't you mean 1.<f,g>=<g,f>(bar)?

Also, these can be proven with more or less just the definitions of the inner product and following through.
