a student is attending summer school where she must study 4 units.
There are 6 one hour time slots per day. Each unit is offered at each time slot of the day.
Decision to take class i of unit k is determined by how much the lecturer looks like tom cruise. The score for
how much the lecturer of class i of unit k is p_ik.
A. Formulate integer program model to help maximize score.
Let x_ik = 1 if they take class i of unit k, otherwise 0.
Answer.
max z = sumof( p_ik * x_ik) , k=1,2,3,4. , i = 1,2,3,4,5,6.
B. modify the objective, if the objective is now to start her day as
late as possible.
