Math Help - another cross product question..

    another cross product question..

    they say that the magnetic field is paralel
    to the plane
    so cross product is 0 (sin 0 =0)

    where is the mistake in my logic

    The cross product of what vectors? You should be taking the cross product of the vector representing the magnetic moment of the loop with the imposed magnetic field vector. And the maganetic moment of the loop is NOT in the plane of the loop.
