[SOLVED] Harmonic motion
A mass oscillating on the bottom of a spring can be modeled as harmonic motion. If the weight is displaced a maximum of 5 cm find the modeling equation if it takes 2 seconds to complete one cycle

I want to find w

w/2pi=frequency

I am told the the frequency is 1/2, why is it 1/2, and how do I know that?

$\omega = \frac{2\pi}{T} = 2\pi \cdot f$

frequency is the reciprocal of period.
