The pressure in a cerain process is related to the temperature by the equation p(psi) = 12.0T(Degrees F) + 3.00

If the temperature of the process is 120 + or - 10 degrees F,Calculate the pressure (in psi) and the uncertainty

Substutite the values

$T_1 = 110, T_2 = 120 \;\; \text{and}\;\; T_3=130$ into your formula giving

$P_1 = 1323, P_2=1443,\;\; \text{amd}\;\; P_3=1563$

So the pressure is 1443 with a tolerance of $\min(P_2-P_1,P_3-P_2)$ which in your case is 120.
