animation problem

HI im sure my problem is pretty basic for a mathematician. I havn’t done any real math since high school. So I hope someone can help me out. I need to find a constant value that can be multiplied on to the 0.1 ten times so that o.1 will equal five.

What I mean is 0.1 * constant = answer

Etc etc ten so on the tenth time

Haha sorry for the non mathematical explanation

Really 0.01 is my only solid constant starting out.
10 and 5 are changeable

A formula would be great thanks heaps
(by the way this is a animation problem in flash)

The equation you need to solve is $(0.1)x^{10} = 5 \Rightarrow x^{10} = 50$.
Then $x = (50)^{1/10} = 1.4787576$ (correct to seven decimal places).
