    Identify the surface

    Could someone please explain to me what the surface generated by the equation <br />
r.u = m\left| r \right|<br />
is?
    Note: m is a positive, fixed scalar, less than 1 and u is a fixed unit vector.

    Help would be greatly appreciated.

    assuming 0< m\le 1 it looks like a (half cone technicaly I suppose) cone to me, with cone half-angle \arccos(m) and axis \bold{r}
