    mechanics reference points.

    Hey guys i've just been working out neutral axis points above a plain and i need to work out the lna of a rectangle. The equation i have been given id bd^3(/)12 although im not sure what the d stands for in this equation. Any help on this would be great.

    Where:
    • b = Width of beam
    • d = Depth of beam
