# aircraft velocity

heres the problem i was working on

do my FBD's look ok?....and im trying to figure the velocity of B first,

does my a-sub-n look ok?....and to find the velocity do I need to find the Forces in the x direction as well....

How can "gravity" be 0 anywhere in the diagram?? I presume by this you meant the weightless condition, but this actually has nothing to do with the weight. The weight never changes. What this is referring to is the "apparent weight" which is a \$5 code-word for the normal force. So N = 0 N at point A.

Otherwise, without having checked the actual calculations, everything looks okay.
