    Let velocity be u m/s.

    r = 750 mm = 0.75 m.

    Let V be volume of water. Then:

    V/s = u pi (0.75)^2 m^3/s

    = u pi (0.75)^2 (24)(60)(60) m^3/day

    = u pi (0.75)^2 (24)(60)(60) (1000) l/day.

    Divide by 10^6 to convert to Ml/day.
