But that turned into $-\log(y) = \log(x) + c $ which is undefined at x=0 and I don't understand what he's talking about with $ x=+/- y$... Also by slope does this just mean differentiate it or what? I've been stuck on this question for too long and it's making my head spin maybe I'm overthinking it or just understanding this completely wrong and it's probably something really basic, but please point me in the right direction if you could be so kind...

    Thanks

This doesn't say what the original problem was and I can't see what is being referred to in "Also by slope does this just mean differentiate it or what?". I presume those are intended to be given in the links but the links are broken.
