Difference between D'Alembert's Principle and Conservation of Energy
I have a question which im finding difficult to come up with an answer too. what is the difference between D'Alembert's Principle and the Principle of Conservation of energy? the part conclusion i have come up with is that using D'Alembert's Principle is a waste of time but cant seem to say why!? What's the need in using it if at all to answer an engineering question?
