Particle in a straight line!
Have a question that i am having trouble getting my head round, wonder if anyone can help?
Q. Choose the two option that are always true about motion of a particle in a straight line.
A. The speed of the particle is the magnitude of it's velocity.
B. A particle that has zero acceleration and zero velocity must be at the origin.
C. A particle with negative position must have a negative velocity.
D. The acceleration of any object always decreases.
E. A particle which remains stationary has zero velocity and zero acceleration.
F. If two particles have different velocities, then at some time in the future they will collide.
I think E is correct and B, C are incorrect but not sure!
Can anyone help!
