I am working on a problem invoving motion of particles and i have worked so far down to the general soln of their motion.
Please see the attached for the general soln that i have calculated,
Can someone identify
1) A particular soln given the particles are released from rest
2) identify a general displacement vector X(0) this is from the equilibrium postion that would give the normal mode when all particles move in phase
3) If system is in normal node motion at highest angular frequency, give with reasons which particles is moving in phase.
I know that opposing signs of the eigenvector components give a phase opposed normal mode so i have worked out part 3
