    Angular acceleration

    The uniform bar AB is pinned to the 2kg slider at A. Before the 12N force was applied, the bar hung vertically with θ = 0. Neglecting friction calculate the acceleration of the slider and the angular acceleration of the bar immediately after 12N force is applied.
    You may assume that the moment of inertia of a uniform bar of mass m and length L about its centre is (ml^2)/12. Please see pic attached. sorry for the size
