    physics problem ball w/ mass

heres a physics question i need some help with please:

A ball with mass 2 kg is raised to a height of 10 m. What is its potential energy (use 9.8 m/s^2 for g)?

also, If the velocity of a rolling ball doubles, does the moment of inertia change?

    thankyou.

Additional potential energy of the ball when raise a height h is: m.g.h

    In this case m=2, g=9.8 and h=10m, so Delta(PE) = 196 Joules

How is the moment of inertia of a body about an axis defined? Does it
include anything except the radial mass distribution?
