Is it accurate to say that our climate is a chaotic system?

On that basis is it reasonable to attempt to build a quantitative model of the climate?

i dont think so, to the 1st question

climate are measurements taken for long periods (so its average values)

meteorology yes, is chaotic (weather forecasting)


either one of them is studied with computer simulation
