    3x3 Eigenvector Problem

    With the Matrix B:

    (1 0 0 )
    (0 2.5 -0.5)
    (0 -0.5 2.5 )

find the eigenvector associated with the eigenvalue of 2.

    I've been using the form:

    (B - (lambda)I)x= (lambda)x

but have been unsucessful so far.

    Suggestions?
