    Unhappy Linear Transformation T-- HELP!!

    the standard matrix
    [T ] of a linear

    transformation     T is given. Use it to find T (x).



    T = (1 2
    3 4)

    x = (3
    -2)

    The parantheses are the best I could do to show the matrices.

    Please help and please use basic terminology. Im lost.

    T(\vec x) =TX=\left(\begin{array}{cc}1&2\\3&4\end{array}\rig ht)\left(\begin{array}{c}3\\-2\end{array}\right)=... where X is the coordinate matrix for \vec x.
