    this seems simple

    hey can anyone help me with this problem

    x/(1/x +1/y)

    yeah simplify..
    i think it's x^2y/ (x+y)

    Umm, let us see.

    x / (1/x +1/y)
    = x / [ (y*1 +x*1) / (xy)]
    = x / [(x+y) / (xy)]
    = x *[(xy) / (x+y)]
    = [x(xy)] / (x+y)
    = (x^2)y / (x+y) --------***
