    parametric equation of the line through a point

    Find the parametric equation of the line through the point (3,-1) and parallel to v = (3,1,-2)

    The general forumla is

    \vec r(t)=P_0+t \vec v

    Without a Z coordinate (for you point) I don't think you can write it.
